Hey interweb peeps.
I know a lot of you follow me because of my Art and Animations, and I haven’t really done any for a long time, but I’ve always dreamed about making games, and now that I finally know how to at least make something that is worth playing, I really want to get more into it.
I won’t say that I’m sorry I don’t make more art, but I hope you understand my reason, though I do have some art plans in the very near future, as soon as my hand get better, and I get some things set up.
something that I hope you’ll find very useful. ^^
I hope that you look forward for anything I have to post in the future even tho it might not be what you started following me for, I know I’m a very all around kinda creative person, I mean, I make art, animation, games, cosplays, and sometimes completely different things.
I also hope you’re excited to try my game Sad Bunny Face, this game really means a lot to me, although it’s my first game I really hope you’ll enjoy it whenever I get to finish up the last stuff I need to do. :D
Hope you all have a great weekend.
Love Mort
I found some old sketches, and idea sheets in my paper folder, from when I first came up with my ideas for Sad Bunny face, and I thought it could be fun to share some of the ideas I had before I started making the game.

In the beginning I wanted to game to have around 8 worlds, all with 20 levels, and it would feel more like a Kirby game, where you progressed out through the world, and they tog you to the next area, although for my first game it was way too over ambitious, so I decided cut it down to 3 worlds, and later I cut each world down to an episode each.
The main reason I had to cut it down was because I couldn’t find any programmer who would help me program the game, so I had to figure out how to make it all myself and as someone who has very little coding experience, it was probably the best to do.
The order I wanted them to be progressed out through was.
- Green Plain Field
- Sunset Beach
- Pirate Ship
- Rainbow Sky
- Magma Cave
- Zombie Cave
- Moon Surface
- Warp Dimension
Some of the other worlds I wanted for one of the future games:
- Desert
- Jungle world
- Sewers
- Time zone
- Music world
- Retro
- Snow world
So as you can see if I the game dose well, and I plan on do more then just 3 episodes, I have plenty of ideas where Sad Bunny Face should end up visiting. :)

Zombie Cave
Here is a sketch of the Zombie Cave.
What I had in mind for this zone was that Bunny face would have to go through an old Mine where a Zombie outbreak had happened, and all the bunnies in the mind was turned to Zombies of course.Enemies:
The enemies in this zone would be, Zombie bunnies of course, some of them would role a poison infected brain around, and if you touched it, you would have to enter a putrefying pool before turning into a zombie yourself and of course die. There would also be bats flying around, spikes falling from the sealing, and wild mine carts.
Features:
Some of the features for the Zombie cave was big boxes you would have to push around to enter places, hold buttons and what not you could do with moveable boxes. There would also have been torches around that would light up the area, so some of the areas would be dark and hard to see through without a torch on the wall.

Moon Surface
Here is a sketch of the Moon surface.
What I had in mind for this zone was that bunny face would be shot up to the moon’s surface from the pirate ship, it would be a sort a typical space/moon world, where the gravity was low.Enemies:
Most of the enemies here would be mad aliens, and One Eyed-Creatures, there would also have been meteors falling from the sky.Features:
Beside that the gravity should be low, I also had in mind that you would be jumping around on rotating mini meteors, and you was able to steal mini UFOs from the aliens.
So this was a bit of what might happen in a future game, or just some of the ideas that would never make it further then paper, either way I hope you thought it was fun to see some of the ideas I had for the game before I realised it was way to ambitious. :D

Today was not my day at all.
I was doing the dishes, and while I was washing one of the glass, it broke in my hand, and cut me pretty bad, so bad that I made my white dishcloth red. (I almost fainted I can’t handle blood at all)
My friend used his first aid magic on me and we tried to clam down and handle the situation right, after I got in a cap, and went to the casualty department, had to wait there for about a hour before I could get my hand checked.
and the doc didn’t doubt for a sec, I needed to get stitches in my hand, and the wounded cleaned up, and while he was at it, he gave me a tetanus vaccination.
Right after I was done, I went to a GameJam I was supposed to attent to this weekend, and as the only artist on my team I overused my hand, and it started hurting real bad again, I went home to rest a bit but as I got off my bike I felt really dizzy and I started bleeding from the wound, and I blacked out, my friend was there at least and help me to get to the casualty department ones again, and I got one stitch more, and got more bandage.
anyway I have to call my team mates at the GameJam and let them down tomorrow, it’s a bit sad because I’m the only Artist/Animator on our team :(
So I don’t think I’ll be drawing for a good while sadly, I might be able to handle a mouse if I take it easy, but handling a pen is really hard and hurts a lot.
It have definitely not been my day today. :(
Hey Cody. :)
I really appreciate the love mate! and glad to hear you’ve been adding the source and credit to your posts, and even more glad to for the support!
The way you do it now is fine with me, as long as credit/source is there I don’t mind my work being shared around, I’m just incredible happy for all the support! ~ again thanks <3
I don’t know much about pixel art, but I can make one hell of picture with a few blocks. Go @mnrart! twitter.com/TheRoboroach/s…

Oh you! ~ <3
You’re too kind but thank you so much! ~ I use Adobe Flash CS6 for all my Animations and Vector art. :)
Life can be rough sometimes, and making it is deferentially not easy, but I’m passionate, I’ve made it far already, and I’m not giving up.

ActionScript3. sadly the only programming language I know. I’m more of an art guy then programmer :^) but I could never find any programmer who liked my game Idea so I just tried to develop the game on my own. :)
Hi Anon.
Programming is not my strong side, and I might not be the best to answer this question.
But it all depends on what kinda Games you want to make I’d say.
Most people work in engines like Unity3D, GameMaker, Stencyl and many more, so I’d say you think a little about what kinda game you want to make, is it the next big AAA title or is it, a small 1-3 man indie game, and Think this though because each way you choose have ups and downs.
Then suck it up and learn the basics for the engine you want to use, most people go for Unity3D because it can make pretty much everything from small as big games. (and I myself wish it was here I started).
Then don’t make a game I’d say, just program tons of small random stuff, everything from a calculator, to a rip-off of Mario, get a feel of how things work, and just build it up from there. :)
Like I said I’m not big shot when it comes to talk about programming but It’s kinda like learning to draw I think, you start out with the basic and work you way up, and yes the basic is so boring that you might want to kill yourself time to time, but you only have to go though it ones right.
And I don’t know how good you’re already, so it’s a bit hard to maybe answer your question right but I hope it might have helped a little :)
I use to be a big Dragon Ball fan back in the days, but not that I don’t like it anymore it was just like after the “original” series enden I kinda lost interest in it :P tho Dragon Ball still have a very special place in my hard it was the reason I started Drawing after all :P
And not biggy! I love talking to people online I Don’t always replay right away but when I have Time for it I like to sit down and replay to questions or just talk with people :D and if something that might take me 2minus could do a major change for someone that would just mean the world to me :D
Also had a look at your gallery keep up that good work ;)
I have one old Tutorial on how to make the Wiggle effect in Flash, but it’s really bad ><;
Tho I have to admit I would like to make a Tutorial but making a game takes up A LOT! of time so I don’t see it happening anytime soon, but again I’d like to make some.
